Since 2012 when he moved to Siracusa in Sicily, Erlend Øye has focused his musical interest on a new project with La Comitiva, created with three Sicilian musicians. They mix traditional local sounds with South American influences, but keeping the acoustic sound of Kings Of Convenience. The project started at the beginning of 2018 and they have taken it through several tours in South America (Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Argentina, Brasil, Uruguay) and Europe.
